The Carignano (more commonly known as Carignan) grapes for this wine are harvested from bush-vines grown in the Sulcis region in the coastal, south-west of Sardinia. Aged for three years first in barrique and then in bottle prior to release, the wine has fine, integrated tannins with developed autumnal fruit flavours and just a touch of oak influence on the finish.
